All volunteers will be required to complete a number of clearances to be in compliance with state and federal law as well as to meet insurance requirements. Please complete these steps in order. Links to the everything are in the sections below.  Having the 1st 3 items done before registering is helpful!!!

1) (every 5 years) PA Child Abuse Clearance

2) (every 5 years) PA Criminal Background Check

3) (ANNUALLY) Little League Abuse Awareness Training

4) (ANNUALLY) Register UP ON TAYBLL.COM - this will get you "in the system" and will allow us to send you the necessary link for step 2! 

5) (ANNUALLY) JD Palatine (JDP) National database background check - you will receive an email with the Little League logo that will take you to JDPalatine.com to complete this form. It takes 2 minutes. It will ask for your SSN as part of the clearance. This is required.

Directions for Abuse Awareness for Adults Course Completion--LITTLE LEAGUE:

1. Create an Account or Sign in to Little League Training Portal (Coaches from prior sanctioned all-star teams should already have an account)
   • Sign in or create account
   • Click "Courses" and "All" option
   • Select "+ Enroll" under the Abuse Awareness course (if not pre-enrolled)
     
2. Complete Abuse Awareness course
   • Click "Start"
   • Click "Start" again (make sure you allow pop-up window to open)
   • Click "Start Course"
   • Complete the course (we suggest playing the videos at x2 speed)
     
3. Take Quiz
   • Complete quiz satisfactorily
   • download/print certificate
4. Send a copy of your certificate to [email protected]
